Early settlers on Mars working in the mining industry were dying from helmet and spacesuit depressurizations at an alarming rate, even by the low standards of most mining companies on Earth. The solution, a more robust design with less exposed glass. A pull down shield with embedded cameras was used for additional protection from flying regolith and other debris during dangerous operations.
